Client Overview & Challenges

ERGØN & WØLF is a cutting-edge architectural visualization and design studio with offices in Athens and Madrid. Specializing in high-end imagery, the studio produces hundreds of high-resolution images per month, pushing creative and technical boundaries to deliver stunning visual experiences.

However, before adopting Helio, they faced major workflow inefficiencies, including:

🚨 Slow Renders & Frequent Crashes – Large projects took 2-3 days to render, leading to bottlenecks and deadline pressure.

🚨 Blocked Workstations – Artists couldn't use their PCs while rendering, reducing overall productivity.

🚨 Last-Minute Quality Control Risks – Final high-res renders could only be checked at the end, creating anxiety over whether the results would meet expectations.

🚨 Inefficient Workflows – Team members had to manually distribute workloads, leading to delays and inconsistent output.

🚨 External Render Farm Issues – Previous cloud solutions were impersonal, required manual uploads, and didn’t integrate smoothly into daily operations.

Transition to Helio

ERGØN & WØLF turned to Helio to modernize their rendering process. The transition was implemented in two phases:

Phase 1: Supplementary Capacity – Initially, Helio was used to handle overflow rendering, freeing up workstations and reducing pressure on internal machines.

Phase 2: Full Cloud Transition – With Pulze Scene Manager integration, the team fully transitioned to Helio, making rendering a seamless and automated process.

With Helio, rendering no longer interrupted artists' workflows. Instead of waiting for renders to finish, team members could continue working on new projects while their high-resolution images processed in the background.
